Nearly A Year Later Jacksonville Murder Remains Unsolved

The search continues for a murder suspect nearly a year after a Jacksonville man was killed.

Jacksonville Police say it was on May 19, 2010 that 30-year-old Ramel McDonald was gunned down on Onslow Drive.

Police first released the sketch of the suspect last June and hope anyone with information comes forward.

Police say they have conducted numerous photographic lineups and investigated hundreds of leads. Detectives continue to follow up on information and leads as they develop.

Crime Stoppers of Jacksonville/Onslow County is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest or apprehension in the case. Their number is 938-3273.
