Republican 3rd district congressman Walter Jones voted for the repeal of the health care bill Wednesday. Jones has previously stated he supports health care reform, but not this measure which he sees as an over-reach into the lives of many and legislation the country can't afford.
First district democrat congressman G.K. Butterfield voted not to repeal, saying, it would take away many of the new health care protections and freedoms people are only just beginning to enjoy and would put insurance companies back in charge of health care.
