A strong cold front will push through the area late Thursday afternoon, shifting winds to a northeasterly direction. Much cooler air will arrive by Friday morning. In fact, highs will drop from the upper 80s Thursday to the upper 60s to lower 70s by Friday afternoon. Only isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday and Friday. Moisture will increase by Friday night and Saturday giving us a good chance for rain.
