One town's plan to improve water pressure has some people boiling mad, they're not happy about the plans for a new water tower.
Some in the South Shores Subdivision of Morehead City are upset about the city's plans for building a new water tower on Country Club Drive. That's according to the Carteret News Times.
The paper says the goal of the water tower is to improve water pressure, create a back up supply of water in case there's a line break and better fire protection and water quality in northeastern Morehead City.
Some residents say the water tower will be an eye sore.
