The remnants of Tropical Storm Lee continued to impact eastern North Carolina today. Some strong to heavy thunderstorms developed across the area and brought some tropical downpours. The showers should gradually end on Thursday as the remnants and a stationary front slowly dissipate. There could be some patchy ground fog early in the day but it should burn off quickly by mid-morning. Highs will be in the middle 80s. More nice weather can be expected for Friday and the weekend.
