A fairly quiet Saturday is expected across eastern Carolina. Increasing moisture combined with a weak area of low pressure off the North Carolina coast may bring a few showers on Saturday, especially along the immediate coast. Afternoon highs will remain below normal with most locations reaching the middle 80s. Temperatures will stay in the 80s on Sunday with isolated showers and storms, mainly during the afternoon and evening.
We can expect a slight increase in shower activity during the first half of next week. Temperatures will be near 70 degrees at night and upper 80s each afternoon.
