Minor League President Visiting Kinston

The Kinston Indians will welcome a special guest to Historic Grainger Stadium Thursday.

The President of Minor League Baseball, Pat O'Conner, is scheduled to visit the park before the first pitch of the 6:30 p.m. game.

This is O'Conner's first trip to the Kinston stadium. His visit comes as the city searches for a new home team. The Kinston Indians are moving to Zebulon following the 2011 season.

The season continues through Labor Day weekend.
