We finished the weekend with temperatures about 5-10° above average with highs topping out near the 60° mark.
The clouds started sliding into the area Sunday and have now given way to showers and areas of drizzle.
Today is looking quite chilly with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s along with a slight breeze making it feel even colder.
Although today will not be a total washout, expect on and off showers and drizzle to be persistent throughout the day and into the evening.
Most areas will receive less than half an inch of rain.
Tonight any lingering showers will move off the coast as dry air builds in from the west.
Tuesday will be pleasant with highs near 60° under partly cloudy skies.
A more significant storm will arrive Wednesday with heavier rain and warmer temperatures returning to the middle 60s.
Expect a significant cool down late in the week.
Have a great week.
