McCotters Boat Owners Allowed Back Without Restrictions

McCotters Marina in Beaufort County is now back open to boat owners for them to come out and check on their boats and belongings without escorts by emergency personnel following last Friday's massive fire.

Charred pieces of the dock that housed all twenty-six boats that are a total loss, along with six additional boats that experienced damage during the fire, is what remains. Around those boats are booms which are protecting waterways from fuel and bad chemicals.

Beaufort County emergency services say they hope to have the salvage totally completed by the end of next week depending on weather.

I feel sorry for these people. McCotters has needed repairs and new wiring for years. How did it start too many electric heaters? Maybe on bad wiring I Pray that God watches over all of the victims, and McCotters gets itself upgraded before this happens again.

Allowed back to what? To their former slip? Who is responsible for the cleanup? Is Obama gonna come down here and give a speech? Maybe he'll have a beer with all the victims?
