It is not working we need leadership to focus on crime reduction.

What we need is to get rid of the 'good ole boy' network and get some quality people in there! More than one city council member has had interaction with law enforcement. That is outrageous!

We need a new mayor and city council. We need people in these offices who are less interested in developing a new Wal-Mart and more interested in turning around "Tombstone," eastern NC. Let's elect people who will handle the gang problem and stop the shootings and robberies.

I see the once arrested K. Smith will be looking to get elected again. Hopefully, her constituents will be looking for something better than a council member who harasses the police, when she should be letting them do their jobs.

Pat Dunn is the weakest, most politically correct mayor we've ever had to suffer through.
