Commandant Of Marine Corps Visiting Cherry Point

The relatively new commandant of the Marine Corps is visiting Cherry Point for the first time Tuesday.

General James Amos will meet with Marines at the base beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The visit comes on the heels of the compromise debt deal that President Barack Obama reached with congress that will slice $350 billion from projected military spending over the next 10 years. The agreement leaves open the possibility of up to $500 billion in additional reductions.

Cut the military thats the answer right? Lets continue to fight the worlds wars and let the working american people foot the bill, lets absorb the cost of the famines in Africa at the cost of the american taxpayer. Lets rebuild Haiti and Iraq because we are such nice loving americans. Everyone's answer always comes by way of cutting the military. How about cutting some of these BULLS**T programs we have and taking care of our own. HUH????

Well the military does spend alot, but near as much as welfare, medicaid, medicare, unemployment, cell phones for those on welfare..... and the list could go on and on. How about we recall all elected officials, senate, house, president all of them, and put accountants in their place.

Since the president wants to cut defense spending, bring our boys and girls home from arm way! If the country in a conflict wants The USA to fight, contact them for what it will cost and more.
