Man, Woman Charged With March Murder Of Wayne County Man

22-year-old Natasha Bonaparte and 34-year-old Virgil Cox, both of Goldsboro, are charged with the murder of Edward Brewington. He died at Pitt County Memorial hospital March 7th after he reported being assaulted and shot at his home on Mill Dam Lane in Goldsboro March 5th.

Wayne County deputies say Bonaparte was arrested in Philadelphia and is being held there with no bond on a murder charge. Deputies say she faces more charges when she returns to Wayne County. Cox was arrested during a traffic stop in Wayne County on Highway 11 North. He's charged with murder, first degree robbery, and robbery with a dangerous weapon. He's in jail with no bond.

    I really hope that you aren't taking a shot at the Police department. They are working hard and putting their lives on the line for all citizens of Goldsboro. Maybe you should direct your comments to the Courthouse who like to cut the bad people out of jail. If you really don't like it here transfer to another military facility.

    5 murders already this year in goldsboro.. The mayor and his cronies are realy kickin butt.. Hopfully the Department of Defense will look at the big picture and close Seymour Johnson Air Base during ther next round of Base Realignment and Closure(BRAC)hearings. The airman and women shouldn't have to live in the envirinment Goldsboro presents.
