LOTTERY: Man Wins $60,354; Big $57 Million Ticket Still Out There

It may not be the big jackpot everyone is talking about, but a Kinston man won more than $60,000 on Friday.

Eric Cargain won the $60,354 Carolina Cash 5 jackpot, the only one picking all five numbers on Friday. He purchased the winning ticket at the Trade Wilco in Richlands and picked up his check at the North Carolina Education Lottery's Greenville claim center. Cargain says he plans to use his winnings to pay for school and a car.

Still out there is a ticket worth $57 million for the Mega Millions drawing. That ticket was bought at the Kangaroo Express on Greenville Boulevard in Greenville.
