Man Arrested After Chihuahua Killed During Domestic Dispute

Deputies today charged a Beaufort County man with killling a dog during a domestic dispute.

Paul Cox of Cherry Road in Washington was arrested Monday morning on a charge of felony cruelty to animals.

Deputies say Sunday night they went to the man's home and learned that a Chihuahua was intentionally killed during a domestic dispute.

The 47-year-old Cox was placed in jail on a $15,000 secured bond.
