Police arrested 27-year-old Matthew Keith Hutcheson early Thursday morning and charged him with the murder of Duwone Parker of Rocky Mount.
Parker's body was found by a passer-by in a wooded area in the 3700 block of Greystone Drive Wednesday morning. Parker's mother reported him missing Wednesday at 4:38 p.m. after the 32-year-old man had already been found dead. Parker was last seen by family on February 25th at 619 Raleigh Road in Rocky Mount.
Officers served an arrest warrant on Hutcheson at 112 Charleston Court in Rocky Mount at approximately 4:15 a.m Thursday. He is charged with first degree murder and has been issued no bond. He's being held at the Nash County Jail.

Police say the body has been identified as 32-year-old Duwone Vondel Parker, of Rocky Mount.
Parker's mother reported him missing Wednesday at 4:38 p.m. at the Rocky Mount Police Department. Parker was last seen by family on February 25.
The body has been taken to the Pitt County Medical Examiner's Office to determine a cause of death.
