A 62 year-old man involved in a wreck Thursday morning has died.

Highway patrol says it happened around 8:40 a.m. on Streets Ferry Road outside of Vanceboro. Troopers say 48 year old Van Hill reached for his coffee and went left of center colliding head on with 62 year old William Lancaster's pick up truck. Both were life flighted to Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Lancaster later died.

Hill will be charged with driving left of center, but we have no word yet on additional charges.
