Duplin County officials say a 58-year-old man was killed in a fire early Sunday morning.
Three fire departments responded to the call of the fire around 3 a.m. at 132 Norman Mercer Lane, that's off of Highway 111 in Beulaville.
Officials say a 58-year-old man was killed. He was the only one that lived at the single wide mobile home.
Officials believe the fire started in the kitchen. The home is a total loss. The SBI has ruled the cause of the fire undetermined. They say no foul play is suspected.
Officials are not releasing the man's name at this time.
