Man Charged With Robbery, Assault- Another Suspect On The Run

A man trying to retrieve a bicycle stolen from his family ends up in a confrontation in which police say the suspects pulled guns on him.

20-year-old Deangelo Williams of Rocky Mount is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and robbery with a dangerous weapon, while police continue to look for 19-year old Brandon Deans. The incident happened Monday morning when the victim says he tried to get the bike back and Deans pulled out a handgun. The victim was able to get away on the bicycle. Bond for Williams is set at $15,000.

    The part of this story that seems to be getting passed over is the "one that got away" is ALSO the one with the gun. And he's still out there--with a gun... And he's crazy and stupid enough to pull it someone over a stolen bicycle... The good People of NC need to openly arm themselves and let these thugs and punks know just where we stand...

    About 25 years ago I had the same thing happen to me but I got the bike back.I was the one packing heat.

    They're just starting out. Wait till they're 25-30 y/o. They'll be on a first name basis with the warden. The local cops probably already know them.

    The guys sound like DEBO (in the movie Friday) he should have brought his Daddy with him. When I was growing up and they took my Brothers bikes, my Daddy and his 45 always got the bikes back..
