A man was arrested Wednesday night for a weekend murder.
Goldsboro police say 23 year old Shawntana Thompson was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday for the shooting death of 21-year-old Darrel Best of Goldsboro. Police say Best was shot in a vehicle on Olivia Lane along with another victim who survived. Thompson is being held on no bond and will have his first court appearance Thursday September 8th.
