Greenville Police said they are still getting the story behind a shooting from Sunday night where the man hit by gunfire got a ride to the hospital.
Sergeant Fisher of Greenville Police said officers are investigating the shooting which was reported a little before midnight Sunday night in the area of Kristin Drive and Greenville Boulevard.
According to Sgt. Fisher, the victim's friend called officers to report the shooting while the victim got a ride to the hospital.
That man was was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
Officers said that man is not sharing any details about the shooting.
The investigation continues.
