Man Charged In Two Weekend Arsons

A man is in jail after deputies say he set fire to two structures and a vehicle this weekend.

Jones County deputies have charged Patrick Mahoney of Trenton with second degree arson, burning certain buildings, burning personal property and felony breaking and entering.

Deputies say a pack house on Plantation Road was set on fire Friday night, then a home and vehicle on Stones Chapel Road were burned on Saturday afternoon.

The 54-year-old Mahoney was arrested Sunday night and jailed on a $30,000 secured bond.
