A Dudley man is in jail on a $750,000 bond after his arrest for shooting someone, robbing a couple and possessing drugs. All three cases happened in Wayne County this month.
Deputies say the shooting happened May 4th on Durham Lake Road at a location known as the Living Room. Christopher Cobb is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and discharging a barreled weapon into an occupied vehicle.
The victim in the shooting was treated and released from Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Deputies say on Monday Cobb is accused of robbing a couple at an Exxon station on Highway 117 in the Dudley area. Taken in that holdup was $2420 in property along with a vehicle worth $14,000.
When arrested on Thursday, deputies say they found marijuana in his vehicle and that the 23-year-old Cobb didn't have a driver's license. In that case he was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license revoked.
