Man Arrested On Sex Crimes Involving Young Girls
A man is behind bars after his arrest on sex crimes involving two young girls.
Carteret County deputies charged Wesley Jones of Peletier on Tuesday. The 63-year-old man is facing four counts of sexual offense with a child and one count of assault on a child under 12.
Deputies say the victims knew Jones, but are not releasing any more information about them.
Jones is jailed on a $100,000 bond and is expected to go before a judge for his first appearance today.
