MCAS New River Air Show This Weekend

Marine Corps Air Station New River is hosting the "Sounds of Freedom" Air Show this weekend.

The air show features highly trained military and civilian aircraft pilots strutting their stuff in the sky. You can expect to see the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, U.S. Army Special Operations Command parachute demonstration team, and the Black Daggers.

There will be some static displays where you can get up close with some of the aircrafts. Organizers say the Osprey is just one element of the show. Fifty to sixty aircrafts will be flying and many are new acts.

MCAS New River will open its gates to the public at 8:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Parking and admission are free with performances starting at 11:15 a.m.

I attended and had a blast! Quick parking and quick leaving after the event added to the great time! New River has their act together! What a great show this year! Thank you to all the men and women who worked so hard to make this a great event! Thank you to all the military personnel past and present for your service!

I'm really surprised that none of these flag waving hypocrites have not blown a gasket knowing that a CANADIAN demo team is performing, not an american militaristic propaganda machine.
