Havelock city leaders will hold a meeting today about expected growth near Cherry Point.
Leaders at the Havelock Commissioners's Special Strategic meeting will discuss the expectations of the F-35-B jets at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. What that will mean in terms of housing on base and in the city will also be a topic of discussion. Population projections, regional housing and other projects are on the agenda, according to the Havelock News.
The meeting is slated to begin at Havelock City Hall at 5:30 p.m.
