Lawyers for the mother of a Fayetteville girl who was murdered in 2009 are expected to ask a judge to dismiss charges against their client.
29 year-old Antoinette Davis is accused of giving her daughter Shaniya to Mario McNeill on November 10, 2009, to settle a drug debt. McNeill was convicted of Shaniya's murder and sentenced to death in May.
Davis' trial is set to being October 28th. She's facing several charges including first-degree murder.
