Laurean Murder Conviction Appealed

An attorney for convicted murderer and former Marine, Cesar Laurean, has filed an appeal to overturn the murder conviction.

A jury convicted Laurean, of killing his pregnant comrade, Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach, in 2007.

Laurean is currently serving a life sentence at the prison in Elizabeth City.

    Too bad Mexico wouldn't keep him. Their disgusting prisons make you want the ELECTRIC CHAIR. DO NOT SPEND ANYMORE OF THE TAX PAYERS MONEY ON THIS IDIOT! He wasted tax payer money and dragged his first court time out long enough! GUILTY! Now BUZZ OFF.

    This is out there for consideration???? I don't think he should be serving A life sentence...he should be serving 2!

    Not only does it make a mockery of the system, it dredges this case up from the "Needs To Be Forgotten" files. Who even wanted to hear about this case again? Let that guy rot! Forget his name.

    This is what is wrong with our judicial system! Worthless appeals! This should be first degree murder and nothing less. Death penalty!
