Lenoir Community College won their fifth straight game, a 103-71 blow-out of Vance-Granville Community College Monday night in Kinston.
The Lancers (15-6, 11-4) busted out of the gates with an 8-0 lead and never looked back. LCC had five players in double figures and never trailed in the game. North Lenoir’s Tray Harris led the Lancers with 16 points. Kinston’s Marquez Jones had 14 points. Nash Carter also posted 14 for LCC.
The Lancers hit the road for a game with Louisberg College (23-1, 14-0), the third ranked team in the country, Thursday at Louisberg. LCC then has a rematch with Vance-Granville in Henderson, NC on Wednesday, February 23rd. LCC’s final home game of the season is Saturday, February 26th at 2pm in Kinston. The Region X tournament begins March 3rd in Wentworth, NC.
