Kinston Host To At Least Nine Wrecks In One Day

Several people are recovering from several car crashes in and around Kinston that all took place Thursday.

The city saw at least nine wrecks, which are under investigation, according to the Kinston Free Press.

In the most serious accident, two people were airlifted from the 2900 block of Vernon Ave.. The paper says both cars involved were total wrecks. The victims are expected to survive.

    If some of you would read the article about the recent fire in Kinston, you would know that there was significant smoke & fog in the air until about mid-morning. Driving conditions were dangerous. You could barely see what was in front of you. I'm glad to know no one was seriously injured!

      I am assuming then that a lot of people in Kinston are too stupid to slow down when visibility is poor.

      my boyfriend was the ones airlifted from a accident in kinston thursday afternoon and WAS seriously injured! he is in trauma ICU and i feel that people do not know all the information before posting stupid stuff on here!!!!

    Actually if you were in Kinston yesterday you would know that it was extremely foggy and on top of that, the smoke was the fire made driving conditions very dangerous.
