The fun Halloween festivities were brought to kids in the hospital unable to go out trick or treating.
The James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville had stations set up all around the lobby Thursday afternoon for patients and their families.
Kids as young as 18-months were dressed up in costume.
And while the hospital couldn't give them candy, they were able to hand out toys, stuffed animals, books and other items.
Anna Morris, an intern with the family resource center, says for the kids, the event means, "Not worrying about a procedure, not worrying about any results, not worrying about their condition, they just get a couple of hours of free time to play, have fun, interact with other patients, and interact with the departments.
