K-9 Sniffs Out Drug Suspects

One drug dog helped put 4 suspects behind bars in a little over a week in Beaufort County.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office says K-9 Elza found 18 grams of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia following a search at 23 Berts Farm Road in Chocowinity. 32 year-old Ricardo Hopkins is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, and other drug offenses.

The Sheriff's Office says Elza also helped put 28-year-old Nathan Smith and 53-year-old Thomas McCoy behind bars. Investigators arrested Smith and McCoy, both of Craven County, following a traffic stop due to expired tags. That's when the drug dog alerted on the car and a search turned up meth and a smoking pipe.

Following the execution of a search warrant at a home at 185 Camp Leach Road in Washington, the Sheriff's Office says Elza found approximately 525 grams of marijuana, 30 small marijuana plants, and plastic baggies used to package marijuana. Investigators arrested 45 year-old Robert Polk Jr. on several drug charges.

I'm not saying anyone is going to hell. All i'm saying it that people need to stop judging his family and friends saying they should have helped him and that he is no better than them! that is not right you don't talk about someones family like that Nathan did mess up but there is only so much his family and friends can do to help and if he didn't want that help then there was not much more they could do for him other than pray!!! I know what he did was wrong I just don't think it is right for people to judge his parents for something nathan did!

James 4:11-12 Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother orjudges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destory. But who are you to judge you neighbor??????

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.Matthew 7:1-5

Atleast Nathan didnt go up and down the road trying to lye cheat and steal from people. He worked and supported his own habit and problem. Its only a catch for the law enforcement because somebody was jealous that their family member got cought and turned them in just for a lighter charge. Get a life people and quit judging others because im sure your backyard is just as dirty as these guys.
