As people of Joplin, Missouri continue to sift through the devastation and look for survivors the tornado left behind, one local woman is talking about the place where she grew up - that's still home to many of her family and friends.
Rebecca Sotrikys of Jones County found out through a text message that a tornado had hit her father's work in Joplin. "I panicked. I was in the yard working and didn't know anything was going on."
Sotrikys says she was able to find out quickly that her dad and his co workers were okay. In fact, her father works as a dispatcher part time, and spent Sunday night into Monday morning helping where he could.
Sotrikys says it's heartbreaking to have devastation like this hit her hometown.
