As people continue to watch what's happening in Japan following the earthquake and tsunami, one local woman is grateful her family is okay.
Hideko Ortiz is the owner of Yakitori House in Jacksonville. She says when she saw the news Friday morning she immediately called her sister who lives in Toyko.
Ortiz says her sister and her family are okay after what they're calling the biggest earthquake in Japan's modern history hit their home.
Ortiz says, "They heard it coming so they were prepared, but they thought it was not that big on the spectrum. I said oh my God. She was still shaking when I was talking to her."
Ortiz says many of her employees also have family in Japan and luckily all of them are also okay.
