A Jacksonville street will be closed longer than expected.
Corbin Street, which was supposed to reopen Friday, will now be closed through Tuesday. The street is closed from Lejeune Boulevard to Liberty Drive.
Additional work is delaying the reopening. The city now expects the street to reopen Wednesday, weather permitting.
One Jacksonville city street will be closed down for the rest of the week.
City crews say Corbin Street, from Lejeune Boulevard to Liberty Drive, will be closed for street repairs and repaving.
It will be closed until Friday at 3:00 p.m. People should detour via Hammock Street and West Francis Street to Liberty Drive.
The city says the intersection of Liberty Drive and Corbin Street will be open to local traffic from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. each day.
