In Onslow County at Camp Lejeune, the Tarawa Terrace Community Center and USO North Carolina have reached maximum capacity for donated items and are only currently accepting monetary donations and gift cards.
Food, water, household goods and monetary donations are still being accepted at VFW Post 9133 on Piney Green Road on behalf of the Salvation Army.
Also, the Red Cross shelter at Enon Baptist Church on Highway 24 at Piney Green road remained open Tuesday night.
