J.H. Rose High School will be having Pink Day for its students Friday in support of cancer research.
The event is in honor of J.H. Rose teacher Liz Upton, who had a recent fight with breast cancer. Students will be allowed to wear pink during the school day for a charge of $1. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Cancer Society in honor of Upton.
