State and Federal agricultural officials will meet discuss the progress to the agriculture industry since Hurricane Irene.
The agriculture industry was the hardest hit during the storm and damage estimates top $320 million.
Officials will meet tonight Tuesday night to discuss the progress thus far and concerns related to the recovery process. The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Senator Bob Martin Ag Center in Williamston from 5-7 p.m.
Damaged crops during Irene included corn, cotton, peanuts, sweet potatoes and tobacco. Swine and poultry, farm buildings, machinery and equipment were also damaged.
