Investigation After Body Found In Elizabeth City

An investigation is underway after a woman's body was found in an out building in Pasquotank County.

The Pasquotank County Sheriff's Office says 55-year-old Deborah Parker was found dead in the building at 1145 Northside Road, Elizabeth City, Sunday evening.

A witness reported finding Parker, who was last seen alive early Saturday morning. Authorities say she sometimes stayed in the out building.

An autopsy was performed but a cause of death is still pending.

To confused: remember, this is a television news website. Stories are often reported on TV as breaking news without many facts just to get the story out there. I hope WITN will be reporting more facts as they materialize. Let's give them a chance.

In Eastern North Carolina, an outbuilding is a storage builing, pack house, barn, or equipment shelter. Most farms have numerous out buildings.

I'm sorry, but what the heck is an "out building" ? An outside toilet, a garage, or what? Also, it's WINTER.....why did she sometimes ( stay ) there?
