Information Sought In Greenville Robbery & Assault

Greenville Police are asking for your help finding a suspect in a robbery and assault.

Greenville Police say a man was robbed at gunpoint in the Wilson Acres Apartments parking lot about 2:20 a.m. September 18th.

Police say the suspect, dressed in all black, asked the victim for a cigarette and then hit him in the head with a silver handgun knocking him to the ground.

Police say the victim was then forced to drive to an ATM and withdraw hundreds of dollars, plus the suspect got away with the victim's wallet, cell phone, and GPS unit.

If you know anything about this robbery you can call Pitt-Greenville Crimestoppers where a $5,000- reward is being offered.

    If I am reading this correctly, it says the police need help in finding a suspect that robbed a man of his money and a GPS would think since he took a global positioning unit that one uses to not get lost, that it could also be used to find the person who took it...just a thought

      The robbers probably think the GPS is an good sized Mp3 player that will allow them to listen to their jibberish that they mistake for music/

      I'd agree....this thug has probably already been arrested for something else....and released on a bond that was too low.
