Hypothermia May Have Killed Nash County Man

The cold weather from earlier this week, may have contributed to the death of a Nash county man.

Deputies told the Rocky Mount Telegram, that hypothermia could be to blame for the death of 61-year-old Gene Dunn.

According to the paper, Dunn was found lying in the snow on the 12800 block of Elinor Street in Whitakers.

A friend reported him missing Sunday morning. Dunn was found around 2:00 in the afternoon.

Authorities say the death is not considered suspicious and cause of death is pending, according to the paper.
