Hundreds Turn Out For Greenville JDRF Walk

Hundreds of people turned out Sunday afternoon for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation walk in Greenville.

The nearly three mile walk began at the Greenville Convention Center and made its way through the neighborhoods behind it.

Official numbers on how much money was raised are being tallied, but over a million dollars has been raised in the last seven years that the walk has been held in Greenville.

Money from the JDRF walk is used to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications.

WITN is a proud sponsor of the event. Dave Jordan helped get the crowd ready for the walk and then participated as well.
