Several firefighting crews are responding to a structure fire in eastern Pamlico County.
Dispatchers say the fire was called in at 3:25 a.m. Friday, at 4451 Lowland Rd. in Lowland. Everyone escaped the house fire without injury, dispatchers said.
Crews from Pamlico County EMS, Goose Creek Island, Triangle Fire, Grantsboro and Florence-Hortonsville Fire responded. Dispatchers say they extinguished the flames and started clearing the scene just after 7 a.m.
It's not clear what started the fire.
