After a soaking 2 to 4 inches of rain for many areas on Thursday, the weather will take a break on Friday with partly cloudy skies and just a 20% chance at a stray afternoon storm. Highs will reach the mid 80s.
The weekend is looking dry, but hotter. We'll see mostly sunny skies, with only an isolated shower or storm. Highs will reach the low 90s Saturday to the mid 90s by Sunday afternoon.
A strong cold front will approach the area on Monday bringing another round of afternoon storms with it. Behind the front, much drier and more comfortable air will build in on Tuesday into Wednesday.
