Holiday Returns Can Be Tricky

If you get clothing that doesn't fit, toys your kids already have, or items you just don't want- there are things you need to know if you want to get any money back.

Each store's return policy will vary, and some stores made changes to their policies just in time for Christmas. For example, Best Buy is no longer charging a restocking fee, as of last Saturday. Some store's policies might not be so customer friendly. So if you need to bring something back you should always try to bring the receipt. At some stores, just knowing the phone number of the person who bought it is enough.

Many stores will return to regular hours after Christmas, so make sure they'll be open when you venture out to spend Christmas cash or take gifts back.
