You lose, pay up. No, they are not a parent, just someone who knows of what they speak. If you have been to any games the last few years, you would maybe understand that the quality of coaching of WHS basketball in subpar. They are good people and I believe their heart is in the right place, but BB IQ is just not there. Don't think the coach makes a difference, just look down the road at ECU. They get Lebo in there, someone who knows a little about basketball, and look how the win totals have increased with mostly the same unit. It is a shame how the program has just been allowed to go downhill such as it has. Just because you have a brick doesn't mean your a good coach. Maybe the administration will wake up one day or at least care about their student athletes.

I love disgruntled parents that don't know what they are talking about. Hey "I love basketball", is your kid not getting enough playing time? I bet you are one of those parents who's kid scored 10 points in a game in middle school and now thinks they deserve a D1 scholarship. Washington has plenty of those folks!

Are you serious? You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. I don't care how good the coaches are or are not, if you are putting the athletes that Washington has at that school right now on the floor, they're going to have a hard time competing. Washington has had great coaches at PSJ and WHS for the past 5-6 years, but even though the kids play their hearts out, they just can't compete with the athletes in the surrounding areas. Believe me, the coaches at other high schools are no more capable than what we have. Go Pack!

Way to go Pam Pack. I don't understand why a school and town that won 56 straight games in the late 70's accepts these results for their program now. You have very capable coaches out there who are proven winners, but the school won't use them because of policy. That is ashamed. Washington basketball should be better than this and I believe the kids deserve quality coaches who are dedicated, experienced and care.Come on administration, hire some local people who are capable of taking the program to another level, the boys and the girls too. Hoping for a better future. Go Pack!
