Heroes Elementary To Hold Dedication Ceremony
A Camp Lejeune elementary school with a name to honor all military heroes will be dedicated Friday.
Heroes Elementary, on Mainside Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, is the new pre-kindergarten through fifth grade school that opened a month ago to students. It replaced the Tarawa Terrace I Primary School.
Friday's dedication ceremony begins at 9 a.m. at the school. Dr. Jo Ann Rooney, the Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, will be the keynote speaker.
