Heavy Snow Heading To New England

A storm that blanketed much of the Southeast with ice and snow is heading northeast into New York and New England. Heavy snow will develop across New Jersey and move into New York City by midnight. As much as 8 to 12 inches of snow is expected in The Big Apple by Wednesday morning. From there the storm will march quickly into southern and central New England where 1 to 2 feet of snow is likely by late Wednesday. Strong winds will develop and cause near blizzard conditions across portions of Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
