Havelock High School Dismisses At 12:30 P.M.

Havelock High School sent students home Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.

The school system says authorities were investigating a bomb threat, and students were first moved to Havelock Middle School.

Because of the cold temperatures, students were evacuated to the middle school so they could be kept warm inside the building, according to a news release.

Students who rode the bus were transported home via the bus, while parents were able to pickup their children at the middle school.

Those students who drove to school were taken via bus back to the high school to get their vehicles.
