The Halifax County Sheriff's Office charged 30-year-old Scotland Neck native Ebony Bryant with 8 counts of Identity Theft and 8 Counts of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses. She's accused of using someone's bank account information since January 2010 to pay for bills totaling close to $20,000. Bryant was given a $30,000 bond and is awaiting a January 23rd court appearance.
