HVAC Employee Wanted For Embezzlement, Theft At Church

Deputies are looking for an employee of a heating and air conditioning company who is suspected of stealing large amounts of copper from his employer and a church that was under construction.

Tolby Bright of Washington is wanted for one count of breaking or entering a place of worship, one count of felony larceny, one count of embezzlement and nine counts of obtaining property by false pretenses.

Deputies say back in early August Bright's employer told them he had stolen a large quantity of copper from them. Five days later the Word of Life Worship Center was broken into and five evaporator coils were taken from the air conditioning units. They say Bright had worked on that HVAC job for the company.

Crime Stoppers will pay to to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the 28-year-old man's arrest. You can call 252-974-6400 with your tip.

Once again it was Tolby Bright not Tony. I have known this boys my whole life and while Tony has made mistakes he has changed for the better. Everyone is always so quick to judge Tony but never have found fault in Tolby. Yes he has 5 kids and did have custody of them. He gave his oldest daughter back to her mother and left his youngest son with his mom. He is no saint and it really bothers me that you people keep saying TONY!! He had nothing to do with this....

How long before you learn to read? "TOLBY" does not spell "TONY". Good job, thanks for playing...

Did not that guy from ECU do something similar, convert funds from the state and use it towards his own benefit? Why is not the SBI or state attorneys office looking into this embezzlement? Not much difference IMO

it was toby, NOT Tony. Tony is doing just fine right now. Toby is a habitual thief and now he has to pay for his crimes. But please do not confuse the two, they are brothers but very different people. toby worked at advanced air solutions.
